Soil investigation and clarification of groundwater conditions

A new building is to be constructed on this industrial site. Ecosens AG investigated the geological and hydrogeological conditions in detail by means of core drilling, dynamic probing and pumping tests. A subsoil model with a detailed description of the geological layers was created. Structural considerations were also made regarding the foundation and excavation pit design. In addition, various pumping tests were evaluated and the permeability of the aquifer was determined at several points on the site. The local hydrogeological situation was described in detail. Calculations to maintain the flow capacity were carried out as part of a material replacement concept.
