Safety with regard to the indoor climate

High demands on indoor air quality

The GI - GUTES INNENRAUMKLIMA® label offers the building owner security with regard to the indoor climate. To obtain the label, qualified measuring institutes check that the highest standards of indoor air quality are met. As an independent label, it is characterized by ease of use, low costs and direct practical relevance.

Numerous Studies have shown that a good indoor climate increases employee performance and reduces absenteeism. In construction projects, it is therefore crucial to focus on creating a perfect indoor climate when designing, selecting materials and planning ventilation systems.

In order to achieve certification in accordance with GI - GOOD INDOOR CLIMATE® , it must be proven by measurement after completion of construction that the certificate values defined according to scientific criteria have been met in the indoor air. This gives building owners the certainty that the indoor climate is free of defects.

How does certification work?

The Swiss Certification Body for Construction Products S-Cert AG is responsible for the correct implementation of certification and compliance with conformity. The regulations and the application documents are available on the S-Cert website As the new owner of the trademark rights, Ecosens AG is currently working on a revision of the existing regulations. The aim of the revision is to adjust certain measurement parameters in order to further increase the added value for building owners and users. In addition, the label is to be more broadly supported by involving various experts and institutions. If you are currently planning certification, please contact us. Further information and already certified reference buildings can be found here:

Ecosens is characterized by the Swiss Certification Body for Construction Products (S-Cert AG) certified for air measurements and recognized by the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) as a Radon measuring point recognized.

Benefits of certification

Denser buildings, shorter construction times and a large number of chemical substances in building materials can have a negative impact on air quality in buildings and lead to health problems for building users.
With the GI GUTES INNENRAUMKLIMA label® can ensure that the indoor air in a building meets the highest quality standards.
