MIC construction project, eco-district development, Marly
Asbestos inspections and asbestos removal work
The project
Place: Marly
Customer: Marly Innovation Center MIC
Phases: Planning, execution
Duration: 2019 - 2020
A challenging construction project is currently underway on the site of the old Marly paper mill with the creation of an eco-district. In addition to its geological and contaminated site services, Ecosens also carried out an asbestos survey of the buildings to be demolished as part of the project and supervised the asbestos removal work.
The rest of the site is also regularly inspected by Ecosens to assess the various elements or buildings still in place as part of their normal use or as the construction work progresses.
Pollutant investigations of the building: buildings to be demolished, old thermal insulation networks of buildings still in use, metal pedestrian bridge
Supervision of renovation work: demolished buildings, isolated renovation work on buildings still in use
Challenges
Numerous buildings intended for different purposes, all of which date from different construction periods
Partly complex industrial infrastructures (pipe network and thermal insulation)
Incomplete information regarding the numerous work measures previously carried out, some of which were carried out by other companies
We look forward to continuing to manage exciting projects for you at Hammerweg.
