As part of a final preliminary investigation, we assessed the construction project in terms of its environmental impact. The environmental impact report (UVB) forms the basis for the assessment by the cantonal authorities.
We worked closely with the operator of the fattening farm and supported the planner in assessing which environmental measures were required and which needed to be taken into account in further planning. An intensive technical exchange with the cantonal authorities helped us to develop a project that could be approved and implemented. The most important environmental aspects were air pollutant emissions, nitrogen loads, odor, soil and crop rotation areas.
