As part of a final EIA preliminary investigation, Ecosens assessed the construction project in terms of its environmental impact. The EIA environmental impact report forms the basis for the assessment by the cantonal authorities and is part of the building application.
We worked closely with the plant planner and supported the project management in assessing which environmental measures were required and which needed to be taken into account in the further planning. The most important environmental aspects were exhaust emissions, CO2-capture (carbon capture)), the incident and the forest.
