Deep geological repository and fuel element packaging plant

The deep geological repository for radioactive waste and the packaging facility are to be built at different sites. A general license application is therefore required for the deep geological repository in the Nördlich Lägern siting region and for the packaging facility in Würenlingen. In addition to the safety and security report and a report justifying the choice of site, the applications also include an environmental impact report.
