As part of a final preliminary investigation, we assessed the private design plan in terms of its environmental compatibility. The environmental impact report (EIR) forms the basis for the review by the cantonal authorities.
We worked closely with the spatial planners and supported the project management in assessing which environmental measures were required and which needed to be taken into account in the subsequent planning. The most important environmental aspects were exhaust emissions, CO2-Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS), the incident and the compensation of crop rotation areas.
